Tots & Twos Trial Class

Class Description

In this parent-child class recommended for ages 18 to 36 months, we invite curious kiddos to explore different STEM topics through age-appropriate hands-on activities each week. After a short circle time, kids explore open-ended, taste-safe sensory stations designed engage little minds! Tots & Twos includes 30 minutes of guided instruction time and an hour of open play. Caregivers must stay with their child for the duration of the class. Our session begins at the listed time with 15 minutes of open play so that children can warm up to the space. Then we will move into the classroom and do guided activities for 30 minutes, ending with 45 minutes of open play in the play space. Need to cancel? Please call or email us 24 hours before the start time of the class to be eligible for a credit. If you have a class package, you may contact us to cancel any time before the start of the class. Class themes: 💗 Valentine's STEM (week of 2/10): Spread the STEM love as we celebrate Valentine’s day with themed activities including fizzy baking soda hearts, flying rose petals in the wind tunnel, and a love potion mixing station! 🧠 Human Body (week of 2/17): Learn more about what makes us tick as we listen to heartbeats, examine X-rays, inflate lungs, assemble skeletons, and dig into a jello brain! 👃Follow Your Nose (week of 2/24): Investigate your sense of smell as we mix fresh herbs into play dough, draw on sandpaper with cinnamon sticks, and play with a citrus sensory bin!
